Church St. Marien Anklam

The Marienkriche is a late Romanesque-Gothic hall church whose oldest existing part stems from the 13th century.

Special attractions are amongst others the medieval fresco painting, an early Gothic font, a Madonna figure remaining from the past high altar (15th century) and the Epitaphs originating from the renaissance and baroque era. The big Schurke-organ was installed in 1962.The church is used for worship and for concerts.
