Finally out. In the natural heart of Western Pomerania.
Favorable for day trips to the region and the Baltic Sea resorts, Hotel Schloss Neetzow connects historical elegance with the amenities of today. Randomly richly decorated representation rooms and the sun terrace directed to the small lake with its landscape park meet on comfortably furnished guest rooms and suites.
The twittering of the birds, the buzzing of the bees and the warm hospitality of the grandchildren generation of the former family of manor family from Kruse invite his hotel guests to be good at a small bistro kitchen and a well -stocked wine cellar. All of this without Tam-Tam, Chi-Chi or even Bling-Bling-it is the simple things in life that delight the most.
The manor house, built around 1850 in Gothic style, is now one of the best preserved of its time in the region. The design comes from the Berlin architect Georg FH Hitzig, then student of the Prussian master builder Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Thanks to continuous use in the different epochs of contemporary history, the building with its opulent wall and ceiling decorations remained preserved for subsequent generations.
The extensive park around the castle was created by the imperial landscape planner Peter Joseph Lenné with a small lake and numerous foreign trees. After over 170 years of age, they have reached a stately size and have become welcome home for numerous birds to be observed.
Unfortunately, daily visits from interior of the castle are not possible in order to guarantee the need for rest of their hotel guests. Once a year, however, Neetzow's Castle opens to an interested public with its own program as part of the annual Midsummer Remise
