The Marina Lubmin is located directly between the Peenemunst and the Hanseatic city of Greifswald. With its excellent location on the Greifswald Bodden, it opens a unique sailing area. Experience history

Anyone who tells the history of Lubmin should also not leave the history of the nuclear power plant in Lubmin. It was once the larger of the two powered power plants of the GDR. The power plant was finally shut down in 1990, 1995 and has been in dismantling since then. So far, the decommissioning and dismantling project of this size has been unique in the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Union and even worldwide. In the meantime, more than 80% of the nuclear systems have been dismantled. The documentation of the decommissioning and the dismantling, the collected data and experiences at Lubmin are of great use worldwide when it comes to decommissioning and dismantling core facilities in the coming decades.
